Tony Salvatore's Honda petcock | ||||

I
swapped out my petcock and took these pics. I never did
have a problem with the petcock leaking as many have
reported. Fuel flow was an issue with mine. I could not
use the old type CJ (better) petcock as I have the newer
style tank. I swapped it out with an NOS from the 1970s
Honda petcock, PN 16950-292-000. As you can see, the [difference in] workmanship between the two is very apparent. The Honda petcock is on the right. I did cut down the brass tube a bit before installing. Credit goes to shooting40 for providing me with the correct part number. Thanks! |
