"Just got done with cleaning up the
wiring on the bike. Replaced the taped connections,
removed wiring for turn signals (not required for bikes
prior to 1973 in MA), etc. I also replaced most of the
stock wiring with vintage cloth covered 18 gauge. Really
looks good on a CJ, just adding to that vintage look. I
couldn’t find a rubber grommet the right size for
the rear fender hole were the wires go through so I made
one out of an old rubber bungee cord. Worked out well. If anybody is interested, I got the wiring here It comes in all different color combinations." |
