| Cracked rotor

| My CJ started running very rough one day and was extremely difficult to start. The symptoms suggested a fuel problem and I spent some time checking all the wrong things. The cause of the problem was a cracked rotor. The crack was packed with material that had worn off the contacts in the distributor cap. Since this material conducts electricity, the plugs were firing way out of time. | |||||
