We built his bike (BMW powered) and he's going to ride
from Alaska to Argentina. We took delivery of the bike in
Las Vegas, and I rode with him to Seligman, AZ, and then
he left for his adventure ride." |

From Tom Denison:
"Ended up going for a ride today, the roads dried
out, and it was pretty warm. Didn't see any nice scenery,
but stopped by my sister's house for a smoke break, and
thought I'd get a shot of the CJ next to her pride and
joy. I'm pleased to say that she, like me, enjoys driving
something unique." [A '64 Studebaker Cruiser!] |

From the "webmaster" Dan:
"One thing this pictures doesn't convey is the
temperature, 26°F, but that's never been something to
prevent me from going for a ride on a sunny afternoon. As
it happened, the cruise lasted close to four hours... and
it was repeated the following day!" |

Ben van
Helden:
"Don't know why, but I bought another CJ, a 1993. In
the early nineties, Champco Trading
imported bikes to Holland, and this is one of them.
Anyone with information is is asked to share it with me.
The company dosn't exist anymore. Where did these bikes
come from? Who built them? (I was told Nanchang.)" |

swapped his beautiful CJ for a 1945 M72! It needs some
restoration, but it's complete and the papers are genuine
1945. The bike has later wheels for better braking. Ben
would like to keep the bike just as it is. (This is a

Jimbo's
Classic Sidecars is opening a dealership in
the States, finally. It will be located near Las Vegas.
Customers will now be able to order bikes without having
to go through international wire transfers and
importation hassles. They will be fully operational by
October but can accept orders right now. We'll have the
address and phone numbers for you next week. Meanwhile,
customers can continue to place orders through the
website and can pick up their bike in Nevada or have it
shipped right to their door. |

From Tom Denison:
"Ive been unable to ride since May due to
surgery on my arm. I decided last week that I was strong
enough to ride 8 miles to a show near here on August 5th.
Took first place in the motorcycle class and brought home
this plaque. The CJ was a hit, the subject of many
photos. I handed out many of Tims CJ history
fliers. (Thanks Tim!)" |

Bill White rides a 1972 M1
with a right-hand sidecar, although he usually rides it
solo. "It was restored in Vietnam and imported to
Australia in 1998. This photo is from Indian H-D Rally in
Bunbury, March 2012. It was 38°C both days, a bit hot,
but the CJ didn't miss a beat. The MX helmet peak
provides shade, and no visor kept me cooler." |

were fartin' around with and it turns out it works really
well. But cosmetically it's out to lunch. Basically a
hydraulic brake reservoir mated to a plunger which works
the clutch arm. Now if we can find a way to hide that
reservoir somewhere off the handlebars, we might have
something." |

red and green arrow on the front." |
